The former Super Eagles and Barcelona forward led Nigeria u17 team to World Cup glory in 2015 and has managed several clubs including Sudan's Al Khartoum, Saudi Arabia's Al-Hazm amongst others.
The Nigerian will now be in charge of the Taifa Stars and will attempt to get their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign back on track.
